Park Hours: The park is open M-F between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Hours are 9AM - 5PM. There is a mini-golf course and other things to see. Chips and soda are available for purchase, but there are no food services.
Rides are available on the first Saturday of each month from June - Sept betwen the hours of 10AM - 4PM. There are two rides, and costs range from $4.50 - $5.50 per person.
S&S Shortline Railroad in Farmington offers a museum and park where people can see and ride on trains of various sizes. The museum features over 90 engines and cars. A 1920's replica of a freight station houses the museum and some visitor facilities. The park also offers miniature golf and a picnic pavilion.
The park boasts over 11,000 feet of 7 1/2" gauge rail and 5,000 feet of 24" gauge rail, with engines and cars in both sizes. The 24” gauge train exhibit features a diesel-powered engine, an electric trolley, more than 10 passenger cars, a caboose, a 1914 Model T Rail Bus and a Crown Steam Locomotive.
The facilities are available for groups by reservation, and can accommodate up to 150 people. The whole place is a work of love, authenticity and uniqueness.
